Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has expressed pride in herself and her growth.

On her Instagram page, the actress, who recently reconciled with her baby daddy, stated that there is a rare power in a woman who cannot be shamed out of who she is or shaken from who she is becoming.



Dikeh said she had never been proud to be King Tonto until Jesus took the wheel and began to redefine her story. She added that what she once questioned, God now affirms, and what she once hid, he now uses.

Following her reconciliation with Olakunle Churchill, the former controversial actress had called for forgiveness as she prayed for broken families. The movie star made it known that forgiveness isn’t weakness but freedom and God’s gift to heal your heart before He heals your story.

During an exchange with a fan who said he misses her bad-girl lifestyle, Dikeh made it clear that her bad-girl style and past are dead and gone.

Since she turned 40 in June, last year, it is obvious Tonto has entered a calm stage of her life. The ex-wife of Olakunle Churchill stated that at this stage of her life, nothing anyone says or does can alter her character. She said she is strong-willed and unapologetically radical for Jesus.

Speaking about her new mindset, she revealed that she doesn’t make shallow requests again and is always specific about what she wants.

In another post, Dikeh had opened up on her new era, saying healing made her private and growth made her picky. She added that peace made her unbothered.

Reflecting on her past, she noted how she went from being a mess to becoming a message. Expressing gratitude to her Maker, she said that where God brought her from, no human should be there.

Late last year, the mother of one shared a testimony on her healing from addiction and masturbation. She revealed that she began smoking at the age of 13 due to her father’s influence and smoked for 27 years before the addiction was completely broken. She also revealed that she struggled with alcoholism, and battled masturbation.

Following her testimony, Dikeh reintroduced herself to the world, revealing that she is a living testimony of mercy as she is among those whom God spared, restored, and commissioned. She said God looked at her mess and spoke destiny into her.
