UI Announces Payment of Acceptance Fee for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has officially announced the commencement of acceptance fee payment for all candidates offered provisional admission into the university for the 2025/2026 academic session.



According to the notice, all admitted candidates who have generated their admission letters on JAMB CAPS are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira) through the University Admission Portal:
www.admissions.ui.edu.ng

The payment portal will be open from Monday, 10th November 2025 to Friday, 5th December 2025. The university emphasizes that no extension will be granted after the deadline.
Payment InstructionsLog in to the UI Admission Portal using your credentials.
Select a payment method:Card Payment – Use your debit/credit (ATM) card.
Bank Branch – Print the payment slip, pay at any listed bank, then return to the portal to confirm your payment.
After successful payment, print your payment receipt for record purposes.
Required Uploads

All candidates must upload the following documents alongside their payment:O’Level result(s)
WAEC/NECO scratch card PIN and serial number
Important NotesAfter completing payment, candidates must present their original credentials to designated officers at the Undergraduate Admissions Office for clearance (date to be announced later).
Only those who successfully complete the clearance process will be matriculated as bona fide students of the University of Ibadan.
Any admission obtained through false or irregular credentials will be withdrawn immediately.
Refund requests for acceptance fee payments will not be entertained.
