2027: Zamfara APC vows to reclaim mandate, endorses Tinubu as Sole Candidate

The opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara has again, for the second time, reassured the people of the state of its readiness toward reclaiming its stolen mandate which is currently in the hands of the PDP come 2027 general elections.

It also endorsed the incumbent President Bola Tinubu as the sole candidate of the party in the forthcoming general election that will take place in the same 2027.

This declaration was made by Senator Abdulaziz Yari when he was addressing a crowd of the party supporters who converged at his residence in Talata Mafara, his country home.


Senator Yari, who represents Zamfara West Senatorial zone at the upper chamber, explained that the President deserved to be re-elected in the 2027 election as the leader of the country, going by what he does for the nation positively, particularly in the areas of economy and security.

According to the lawmaker, it is glaring that the party is doing well to the people, which is why also the people from every angle are trooping into it.


He explained also that another indication that the APC deserves re-election is the fact that every part of the country was given an equal opportunity to participate or be involved in the affairs of the nation irrespective of geo-political zones.

On the issue of security, Yari said the Federal Government under Tinubu is all out toward addressing the menace of the calamity.

Said he, “We are all living witnesses that the President is doing everything possible to address this problem across not only Zamfara but the entire nation, and as we all know, the issue of security is always not a one-man business; it is the business of all collectively, and by God’s grace, it will come to an end entirely,” Yari added.


Yari therefore called on all and sundry, especially the supporters of the party, to continue to remain one and united, as according to him, nothing can be achieved without unity.

Speaking further, especially with regard to the situation of Zamfara, Yari stated that as it is now, the entire people of Zamfara are fed up with the present administration under PDP due to increasing abject poverty, hunger, and fear which contributed in no small measure toward destroying the economy of the state.
