Davido reacts as Ubi Franklin denies claims he stole a wristwatch at the singer?s Miami wedding

Music executive, Ubi Franklin has dismissed claims he stole a wrist watch at singer Davido's wedding ceremony in Miami. 

 

Unfounded rumors circulated online earlier today claiming Ubi was enmeshed in a stolen watch situation. The rumors alleged that he stole the watch from a luxury jeweller.

 

In a statement released on his X handle this evening, Ubi stated what transpired and stressed that he is not a thief as being painted, He stated that the rumors are false and misleading.

 

Davido also took to Ubi’s handle to tell him that he does not owe anyone any explanation.

He would have checked you online and seen you are fraudulent. You carry 2 expensive wristwatches enter plane because you were in a hurry? So they should fly after you to collect them in Naija?
