Summer Walker Closes Her Over It Era with New Album Finally Over It.
Grammy-nominated R&B star Summer Walker has confirmed that her long-awaited third studio album Finally Over It will land on 14 November via LVRN/Interscope Records, marking the final chapter in her acclaimed Over It trilogy.
Fans have been buzzing since Summer dropped a nostalgic ‘90s-style infomercial on The Shade Room, teasing callers with her trademark humour and directing them to a hotline for “emotional compensation.” Soon after, her album artwork mysteriously blurred across streaming platforms, fuelling speculation about what was to come.
To add to the intrigue, Summer took a lie detector test on YouTube, where she confirmed a few juicy details: Latto will feature on the album, there’s definitely a song about an ex, and yes, she still believes in love.
While the cover art remains under wraps, Finally Over It will include the single “Heart Of A Woman”, continuing the narrative arc that began with 2019’s Over It and 2021’s Still Over It. This new record promises a sense of closure, with Summer stepping beyond heartbreak into the dreamlike world she’s built for herself.
Despite the wait, her star has only grown brighter. After a stunning set at Wireless Festival London, a BET Her Award win, and joining Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller on tour, Summer has remained firmly at the forefront of R&B. Her viral moment at the 2025 VMAs and features on Cardi B’s chart-topping Am I The Drama?, including the hits “Dead” and “Shower Tears,” have only solidified her status as one of the genre’s most defining voices.
With Finally Over It, Summer Walker looks ready to close one chapter and begin a new one entirely on her own terms. Pre-Order the album here.
