DJ Cuppy's Ex-Fiancé Breaks Silence: "She Doesn't Like Nigerians

The British YouTuber and BMX rider, Ryan Taylor, has spoken out about his short engagement to the Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola, widely known as DJ Cuppy.

Speaking on the Ladders Podcast, the 32-year-old influencer reflected on their brief relationship, revealing the reasons why their engagement ended.

Taylor, who proposed to Cuppy in December 2022 after dating for less than a month, disclosed that certain issues led to distance between them.

The YouTuber claimed that the entertainer showed a lack of interest in working with Nigerians in certain professional fields.


“Is it weird that I told you she didn’t like Nigerians? She came into my business and didn’t even want Nigerian staff.”

Taylor pointed out that there were no contracts or non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) binding them. He added that he left the relationship with only valuable lessons.


“To be honest, what I got from that was lessons. Everything that happens, happens for a reason. But do I regret it? No. Lesson learned. Next!


“I learned that money is not everything, but not having it is.” Taylor said.

The engagement between DJ Cuppy and Ryan Taylor caused a stir of excitement in December 2022, shortly after the pair met during the Gumball 3000 rally.

However, by mid-2023, fans had noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram, which hinted that their relationship was in trouble.
