Wizkid’s Son Champz Writes
Today, I choose to speak — not because I see myself as someone extraordinary, but because I belong to a generation that refuses to be silent. We are the heartbeat of tomorrow, the ones who will shape the direction of this country, and we cannot allow fear to define the path ahead of us. Our voices carry power. Our ideas carry strength. Our dreams carry the possibility of a better future.
I speak because I know that every young person out there feels the weight of what is happening around us. We see the challenges, we feel the pain, and yet we continue to hope. That hope is what keeps us standing. It is what pushes us to demand justice, to demand truth, and to demand a safe environment for every child growing up in this nation.
As we raise our voices for change, I pray that God protects every child who is still missing. May His light guide them home, and may His comfort reach every family that is waiting, hoping, and praying for answers. These families deserve peace, and this country deserves healing.
Nigeria is our home. It is the land we love, and no matter how tough things get, we believe that hope is stronger than fear. This moment is bigger than me, bigger than any individual — it is a call to every young person to rise. To refuse silence. To believe that tomorrow can be better than today.
We must stand together, united by courage and by purpose. Our generation will not give up. We will continue to speak, continue to push, and continue to dream. This is our moment to rise, to act, and to build the brighter future we know is possible.
